4 Operation
Foot pedal
Foot pump
- Fold foot pedal away when not in use.
- Wear safety boots with no-slip soles.
- When lifting or lowering the platform there
should be no persons within the danger zone.
- Pay attention to the picture symbols on the
lifting unit.
4.1 Raising
- Stand in front of the machine.
- Hold the draw-bar tight.
- Apply the wheel locks.
- Fold the foot pedal down.
- Press the foot pedal down repeatedly until the desired
height is reached.
- Once the lifting unit supports a load it may not be moved.
4.2 Lowering
- Stand in front of the machine.
- Hold the draw-bar tight.
- The wheel locks are still applied.
- Press the lower pedal down carefully.
If the machine supports a load you should not depress
the lower pedal fully. The load will otherwise be lowered
too quickly.
Perform the lowering operation smoothly and without jolts.
