POSSIBLE CAUSE
Pump oil cap vent clogged.
Incorrect pump oil.
Pump air filter clogged/dirty.
Too much pump oil in crankcase.
Piston rings worn.
Cylinder scored.

SOLUTION
Remove clog from pump oil cap or
replace cap, if necessary.
Use only SAE 5W40 synthetic pump oil.
Clean/replace pump air filter.
Drain pump oil to the proper level.
Take compressor to a qualified service
center.
