You have bought HPC 1400, a tool that has
been developed and manufactured using state
of the art methods.
We hope that you enjoy using your pressure
cleaner for a long time to come.
BEFORE USING THIS TOOL FOR THE
FIRST TIME READ THIS MANUAL
CAREFULLY.
THE PORTABLE HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER is a
professional, multi-functional tool offering out-
standing safety levels, which is ideal for washing
and cleaning motor vehicles, bicycles and other
equipment in the open air, such as garden terra-
ces, greenhouses, etc.
This tool complies with the current safety regulati-
ons governing electrical equipment.
Before using this tool for the first time read this
manual carefully.
Improper usage can cause personal injury or
damage to property. People who have not read
the manual must not be allowed to use the tool.
Keep the user manual in a safe place.
Children and young people are not permitted to
use the tool.

Proper usage

The high pressure cleaner has been specially desi-
gned for private use in the house, garage, garden
and workshop and not for constant commercial
use. The manufacturer and vendor cannot accept
any liability for improper usage.

Safety instructions

Before using this tool for the first time, read
this manual carefully and follow all the safety
instructions.
To prevent the risk of injuries, children must not
be allowed to stand near the tool whilst it is being
used unless under supervision. The high pressure
cleaner must not be used by children or people
who are not familiar with it.
Make sure that you are familiar with all the control
elements and ensure that you know how to switch
off the tool quickly.

Take care and be cautious when using the tool.
Do not use the tool if you are tired or it you have
consumed alcohol, medication or drugs
Keep other people out of the area in which you are
working.
When working with the tool ensure that you have
a good foothold on solid ground. Also make sure
that you do not lose your equilibrium.
Refer to the servicing instructions in this user
manual.
If you are not sure whether the socket is earth
properly, have it checked by a qualified electrician
or servicing technician. Do not make any
modifications to the plug. If the tool does not have
a suitable plug fitted to it, have a suitable plug
fitted by a qualified electrician. Do not use this tool
with adapter plugs.
Use only extension cables that are suitable
for outdoor use and check that the plugs are
watertight. These extension cables are marked
with the following information: "Suitable for
outdoor use. When not in use, do not store
outdoors. " Use only extension cables that at least
comply with the rated voltage and the rated
current strength of the tool. Do not use damaged
extension cables. Check extension cables before
use for signs of damage and replace them if
necessary. Damaged extension cables constitute
a safety risk. Use extension cables only for the
purpose for which they are designed and do not
overstretch the cables. In particular, do not pull
the cable to pull the plug out of the socket. Do not
expose the cable to heat and do not route it over
sharp edges. Always pull the extension cable out
of the mains socket before you disconnect the tool
from the extension cable.
Damaged power cables must be replaced by a
special cable or a cable with a plug which you can
purchase either from the manufacturer or from our
after-sales agents. Ensure that the new cable has
the same length as the original cable.
To prevent the risk of an electric shock, do not
operate the tool in the rain or in a storm. Ensure
that the cable connections are dry and are not on
the ground. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Ensure that no water can get into the tool.
The tool may only be connected to an electric
connection that has been installed by a trained
electrician.
