k. Matching the BPM (Beats Per Minute)
There are three tools you can use to match the BPM.
• The pitch slider to adjust the BPM statically.
• The pitch knob.
• The PITCH BEND button to change the BPM temporarily.
• The Pitch Slider
o Press the PITCH button.
o Slide the slider up to decrease the BPM, slide down to increase the BPM. The adjustment range is +/-
12%.
• The Pitch Knob
o In play mode, turn it clockwise to increase the BPM. Turn it anticlockwise to decrease the BPM. The
adjustment range is +/- 16%.
• The PITCH BEND button
o The BPM increases and decreases respectively while the PITCH + or the PITCH – button is pressed.
The adjustment range is +/- 16%.
o The CD will return to normal playing as soon as you release the button.
o Following figure shows an example on how to use the function. Here, both players are playing and the
BPM has already been matched with the pitch sliders.

l. Programmed Playing
• Press the PROGRAM button. The player will enter the program mode and the CD will stop playing.
• Select the desired track by pressing the SKIP button and press the PROGRAM button again. The selected
track will be added to the program sequence.
• Repeat the previous step to add more tracks (max. 20 tracks).
• Press PLAY/PAUSE to start the program from the first selection.
• Press the PROGRAM button to stop the playing. Hold the PROGRAM button pressed for more than 3
seconds to erase all the tracks from the program.
m. Loop Playing
• Press the LOOP button to set loop point A. The LOOP indicator will light.
• Press the LOOP button again to set point B. After point B has been set, the player will enter the loop mode
and play from point A to B repeatedly.
• Press the LOOP button again to cancel the loop. The LOOP indicator will turn off.
n. Relay
• Insert a CD onto both disc trays.
• Put both sides to single play mode. When CD 1 has finished, the player will start playing CD 2. You will see
CD 1 go into pause mode and return to the cue point. When CD 2 has finished, the player will start
replaying CD 1.
REMARK: The play command is sent at the end of each specified play. If the unit is in single mode the play
command will start at the end of the track. If the unit is in continuous mode the play command will
