IMPORTANT NOTES
Read this instruction manual thoroughly before operating the appliance and keep for
future reference.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions must always be followed:
1. This appliance is for internal and household use only.
2. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is in use. Keep the appliance away from
children.
3. To protect against the risk of electric shock, fi re or personal injury, do not immerse the
appliance in water or any other liquid.
4. Insert the plug into the socket after checking that the voltage is the same as indicated on the
technical data and technical rating plate of the appliance.
5. Never pull the cable to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, unplug by pulling the plug from
the socket.
6. Persons not familiar with the appliance are not allowed to operate it.
7. Keep out of the reach of children when using and storing. Never let the appliance standing
in an easily accessible place.
8. Unplug the appliance when not in use, before cleaning, assembling and dissembling.
9. Do not exceed the quantities and processing times indicated in the relative table of the
manual.
10. Avoid touching the blades especially when the appliance is plugged in. Blades can be very
sharp!
11. If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before removing the stuck ingredients.
12. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. In such case you must contact any Singer Service
Center or Singer Client Service.
13. The appliance must not be left unattended while connected to the supply mains.
14. The appliance must be used and rested on a stable surface.
15. The appliance should not be used if it has been dropped, if there are any visible signs of
damage or if it is leaking. In such case, you should contact any Singer Service Center or
Singer Client Service.
16. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot
surface.
17. Do not place the appliance near any gas outlets, electric burner or heated oven.
18. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual
will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the
machine or injuries to persons or animals.
19. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi cation of the machine made by unqualifi ed
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.
