WARNINGS
• Please read these instructions carefully before using the heater and keep the booklet
for future consultation.
• This appliance consists of an electric heating plate, a wok and a fondue pot. Its
intended use is for cooking and heating food using the pieces provided, as explained
above. It is only suitable for home use, following these instructions.
• When the appliance is operating, both the heating plate and the pan get hot, so only
touch it by the plastic handles or knobs. Avoid contact with the heating element and
the pans. Also warn persons near the appliance about this.
• When the appliance is operating:
- Do not touch the heating plate with wet hands or feet, do not move it or cover it
(such as with cloth, napkins, towels, etc.) to avoid the risk of fire.
- Pay attention to the pan (wok or fondue pot) and check that it resting correctly on
the electric plate; make sure it can't tip over and spill boiling oil or other contents.
During cooking, take care not to unbalance the pan: mix carefully, and with the
proper "energy" so as not to spill boiling oil or other liquids.
- Take care to use the right amount of oil or cooking liquid to avoid oil spills and
splatters that can cause property damage or injury to animals and people.
- Do not use any accessories other than those provided: It can be dangerous for the
user and can damage the appliance.
• Do not the appliance to be used by children or irresponsible persons without
supervision: warn them of the dangers and necessary precautions.
• In the case of a fall or poor operation, immediately disconnect the electric cord from
the heating plate. Check that there are no damaged parts and then turn it back on: if
you are unsure, contact qualified service personnel.
• The appliance is dangerous even after it has been turned off: it needs at least 20
minutes to cool (both the heating plate and the pans).
• Do not pull on the power cord or the heater to unplug the heater from the electric
socket.
INSTALLATION
• After removing the packing materials, check the integrity of the heater; if you are
unsure, do not use it and ask for qualified professional help. The packing materials
(plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, etc.) must be kept out the reach of children
because they are potential sources of danger; but dispose of them in accordance with
current law.
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage shown on the data plate
matches that of your electricity and that the electric plug is grounded. In the event of
incompatibility between the electric outlet and the plug of the appliance, have the
outlet replaced with another more suitable type by professionally qualified personnel,
who will make sure that the section of the wires of the outlet is appropriate for the
absorbed power of the appliance. In general, the use of adapters or extension cords is
not recommended; if their use is indispensable, they must conform to existing safety
standards and their current capacity (amperes) must not be less that the maximum of
the appliance.
