BEFORE OPERATING THIS LIFT

Before initial use, a pressurized air supply must be furnished. The hydraulic fluid level
must also be checked before use. Then thoroughly test the jack for proper operation
prior to its actual use. If the jack appears not to be working properly, it may be
necessary to bleed its hydraulic system of excess air.
Turn the release valve (P15) counter-clockwise by 1 1/2 turns. When fully retracted and
with the release valve open, pump the handle (P39) rapidly 10-20 times.

NOTE:
Before first using this tool, the hydraulic ram may need to
be purged.
Some air may intrude into the hydraulic system due to movement
during shipping.
Air bubbles can become trapped inside the hydraulic system
thereby reducing the efficiency of the jack.
Purge the air from the system if lift efficiency drops.
