Attaching the car seat to the
base

To attach seat to base, position front of
seat in base then push down on the back
until it locks into place. (See Illustration).
Pull up on car seat to be sure it is
securely latched into base.

To remove, squeeze release handle
at back of the car seat to release the
attachment latch. Lift car seat from base
as shown. Always place handle in the
down position when removing your baby
from the seat.

Squeeze latches on both sides at bottom
of handle to release it.
Rotate handle until it clicks into any of
the 5 positions:
Position A (up): MUST be used when
carrying by handle,
Position B,C,D:
are convenience positions,
Position E (down):
is the sitting position.
Always place handle in the up position
when using it in a vehicle.
Securing Child

Loosen Harness Straps
Push down on the harness release lever
while pulling out on the harness straps.

Unbuckle the buckle. Place harness
straps off to the sides.

Place Your Child in the Seat
Make sure their back is flat against the
car seat back.
Place Harness Straps Over Child's
Shoulders
Be Sure the Harness Straps are at the
Proper Height
Harness straps must be at or just below
the child's shoulders.
To change harness slots, first remove
your baby. With harness straps loose, from
the back of the car seat, remove the harness
straps loops from the junction plate.
Pull harness straps out from the front of the
car seat.
Insert harness straps into the new location.
Make sure harness straps are not twisted
and are at the same height.
Rethread the harness strap loops onto the
junction plate. Make sure the straps are
completley on the junction plate.
Check the Buckle Position
The correct slot is the one that is closest
to your child without being underneath
them.
To Change Buckle Positions
Remove child from seat. From the
bottom of the car seat, insert the buckle's
metal clip up through shell and pad.
