8. Commissioning and setup
a) Installation of the app
• Open the respective App store on your Smartphone or tablet.
For Android , this is, for example, the "Google Play-Store".

If you use an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, open the "iTunes
Store" by Apple.
• Find the App "MyDoor" (blue symbol) and install it.
Observe the system prerequisites in the technical data
of these instructions and in the description of the App in
the respective store.
Also note that the following description may change for a new version of the app.
b) Setup for LAN
If you do not connect the outdoor unit to your present network with a network cable, but using
WLAN, skip this item and continue with c) Setup for WLAN.
To connect the outdoor unit to your network by LAN, proceed as follows.
Connect:
• First connect a 1-to-1 connected LAN cable to the network adapter of the outdoor unit.
• Connect the other side of the LAN cable to your WLAN router or your network switch.
• Plug the mains adapter into a mains socket for voltage supply of the outdoor unit. The lighting
of the name tag or the doorbell button comes on.
• Wait until the red LED at the rear flashes slowly.
Setup:
The following setup was performed with an Android
ple device instead, the configuration is nearly identical.
