BATTERY RECHARGE
1. Charge the device with a 5V

3. With the battery running out, a warning message is shown
on the display and after a certain time the radio switches
off automatically.
Note: with the battery running out, the radio may behave
abnormally; in this case proceed with charging the battery.
SWITCHING ON / OFF - STANDBY
1. Extend the telescopic antenna.
2. Press the POWER button (1) to switch on the appliance.
3. The device will go to the DAB reception system.
When first turned on, the device will automatically scan
the DAB / DAB + stations.
4. Only if powered with an external power supply, press the
POWER button (1) for a long time to place the appliance
in Stand-by mode. The display will show the current time,
the battery status and any alarms set.
5. If powered by battery, press and hold the POWER button (1)
to turn off the device.
FM / DAB / AUX IN SELECTION AND VOLUME
ADJUSTMENT
1. Press the SOURCE button (1) to switch between the DAB /
DAB + reception band, the FM band and the AUX IN input.
2. Turn the VOLUME knob (7) to decrease or increase the
volume.

SETTINGS MENU
1. Press and hold the MENU key (4) for a few seconds, the
settings menu will appear on the display.
2. Press the TU- (5) or TU + (6) keys and select the desired
item.
3. Press the SELECT button / knob (7) to enter the settings of
the selected item.
The following items are available in the settings menu (some
are displayed depending on whether DAB or FM mode is
selected):
Scan Setting (FM): allows you to search on FM stations with a
strong signal or on all stations found.
Full scan (DAB): selecting this item automatically scans and
stores received radio stations.
Manual tune (DAB): select the desired frequency / channel
and confirm with SELECT (7). A bar will show the strength
of the received signal.
Audio Setting (FM): allows you to select listening in Stereo
or Mono
Prune (DAB): allows you to delete from the list of stored sta-
tions all the radios found but not available (poor signal).
DRC (DAB): allows you to enable / disable the DRC function to
improve the sound when listening in noisy environments.
You can set the DRC level to high (high), low (low) or off
(off ).
System setting: this item allows access to further settings.
Sleep: allows you to set an auto-off timer after which the
appliance will go into standby mode automatically. It is
possible to select between 90, 60, 45, 30, 15 minutes. With
the function activated there is an icon in the shape of a
moon with the time remaining before turning off on the
display.
In the Off item the function is deactivated.
Alarm: allows you to activate and set two alarms. After selec-
ting ALARM, press the ALARM key (2) to select ALARM 1 or
2 and confirming you enter a submenu in which to set:
On Time: set the activation time of the alarm.
Duration: duration in minutes of the alarm clock.
Source: set the type of ringtone between Buzzer
DAB, FM. Selecting DAB or FM is then prompted to select one
of the radio stations saved in memory
Frequency: Daily (every day), Once (once only), Weekends
(on Saturdays and Sundays), weekdays (from Monday to
Friday).
Volume: alarm alarm playback volume, a bar is displayed.
Alarm: On / Off to activate / deactivate the alarm.
Equalizer: allows you to change the dynamics of the audio
being listened to; it is possible to select Normal, Classic,
Jazz, Pop, Rock, Speech, My EQ (custom settings).
Time: allows you to set the current time / date.
Set Time / Date: set the current time and date.
Auto Update: select from which source you automatically set
the time and date if available.
Set 12/24 Hour: set the 12 / 24H time format
Set Date Format: set the date format.
Backlight: allows you to set the time and brightness level of
the display:
Timeout: set the time after which the
display lowers the brightness without commands.
