4.6 Safety Warnings Specifi c for
Sanding Operations
a) Do not use excessively oversized sanding
disc paper. Follow manufacturers recom-
mendations, when selecting sanding pa-
per. Larger sanding paper extending beyond
the sanding pad presents a laceration hazard
and may cause snagging, tearing of the disc or
kickback.
4.7 Safety Warnings Specifi c for
Wire Brushing Operations
a) Be aware that wire bristles are thrown by
the brush even during ordinary operation.
Do not overstress the wires by applying
excessive load to the brush. The wire bristles
can easily penetrate light clothing and/or skin.
b) If the use of a guard is recommended for
wire brushing, do not allow any interfer-
ence of the wire wheel or brush with the
guard. Wire wheel or brush may expand in diam-
eter due to work load and centrifugal forces.
4.8 Turner safety instructions
► The storage and handling of grinding wheels
must be carried out in compliance with the man-
ufacturer's instructions.
► Make sure that the pliable washers of the grind-
ing tool arte installed if such washers are sup-
plied with the tool and their use is required.
► Do not use separated reduction housings or
adaptors to adjust grinding wheels with larger
holes.
► In the case of equipment designed for use with
an internal-threaded wheel make sure that the
thread in the wheel is long enough with respect
to the length of the spindle.
► The machine may not be used in damp and wet
spaces, outdoor when it is rainy, foggy or snowy
or in the explosive environment.
► Before use always inspect the fl exible lead and
the plug. Have the defects repaired by a special-
ist repair shop.
► Outside the premise use only approved exten-
sion leads and cable connections.
► It is not allowed to grind or cut asbestos materi-
als.
► Apply the machine to the material only when
switched on.
► Do not carry the machine by the lead.
► For safety reason the workpiece must be clamped
in a vice or a clamping jig. In such a way the
workpiece can be operated by both hands.
► The fl exible lead plug only connect into the
socket when the machine is off.
► Do not use cutting wheels for grinding.
► Before replacing the grinding wheel or during
other operations always disconnect the plug
from the socket (power supply).

► When cutting or separating stone or brickwork
► Do not work on a ladder.

4.9 Noise/Vibration Information
Measured values determined according to EN 60 745.
Typically the A-weighted noise level of the tool are:
Sound pressure level
Sound power level
Inaccuracy of measurement
Vibration emission value a
directions) and uncertainty K measured in accord-
ance with EN 60 745:
Uncertainty
Declared total value of vibrations was measured
according to standard measure method and can
be used for comparison one powertools with the
others.
Declared total value of vibrations can be used for
preliminary setting of exposition.
Warning:
Emission of vibrations during real operating can
be different from declared total value of vibrations
depending on specifi c real conditions.
To protect operating person shell be provide safety
measurement, that evaluate the exposition un-
der the real conditions (here are included all parts
of operating cycle, switch of mode and idle run
mode).
it is necessary to use slide guides.

CAUTION
The noise created during work may damage
hearing.
