3.1.3 DC-powered MCW-D 2021 DC and MCW-D 2023 DC Versions
• The MCW-D 2021 DC and MCW-D 2023 DC have no integrated battery, but are DC-powered.
• The power cable is connected in a daisy chain. Connect the first microphone unit with a suitable power supply unit. Connect
the second microphone unit to the first, the third to the second and so on. For a suitable power supply unit please contact your
beyerdynamic representative.

Switching on
• The microphone units have no separate on/off switch. They are
switched on and off with the microphone button (8).
• By pressing the button briefly, the microphone unit is switched on.
The LED (7) flashes for a moment and the green LED (2) on the rear is
illuminated.

Switching off

• By pressing the button for more than 2 seconds the microphone

unit is switched off and the LED (7) will flash twice orange briefly.

• If you press the standby button (2) of the MCW-D 200 control unit for
more than 3 seconds, you switch off all switched-on MCW-D micro-
phone units within the range of the MCW-D 200 control unit.
• Furthermore, the microphone units are switched off automatically,
when they do not receive a signal from the MCW-D 200 control unit
for more than 3 minutes.
Important:
• If the microphone unit is out of range of the MCW-D 200
• If the system should fail to operate, i.e. the microphone unit is
control unit the LED (7) will flash red. After approx. 3 minutes
the microphone unit will switch off automatically.
