IMPORTANT: If you do not plan to use
your Arctic Air™ Smart for an extended
period of time, it is recommended that
you empty and allow the unit and filter to
dry before storage. This will prevent mould
and unpleasant smells, and prolong the life
of the Arctic Air™ Smart and filter.
CLEANING:
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before
cleaning. We recommend cleaning the water tank
and the inside of the unit once a week. Use a non-
abrasive cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent.
For best results, we recommend changing the filter
every 3-6 months.
UNIT CLEANING
To prepare for cleaning, run the Arctic Air™ Smart
until all water has emptied from the water tank, or
hold the Arctic Air™ Smart over a sink and carefully
drain to avoid splashing or spilling.
If you notice that the water tank is dirty, use a small
flexible brush (i.e. toothbrush, bottle brush, etc.) and
gently brush the inside of the tank until it is clean.
Rinse clean with warm water (see ill. 11).
FILTER CLEANING
Remove the filter insert from the Arctic Air™ Smart.
Using warm, soapy water, wipe the filter tray and
grille, then rinse off until clean.
!! Allow to air-dry completely !!
(See ill. 8)
1. DISHWASHER: Place filter in the upper rack of
your dishwasher, and run a normal cycle.
!! Remove and allow to air-dry !!
2. HAND WASHING: Hand wash gently with warm
water and soap. Shake out excess water and allow
to air dry.
IMPORTANT: If you see mould on the filter or
notice a musty smell, stop and clean the filter before
further use. Fully submerge the filter in a pot or
bowl filled with equal parts clean water and white
vinegar – allow to soak for 45-60 minutes. Rinse
with warm water, wring out and allow to air dry.

FILTER REPLACEMENT:
The water filter should be replaced every
3-6 months, or when you feel that your Arctic Air™
Smart is not performing as it should be. The water
tank lights up in blue until a filter is inserted again.
When this is done, keep the speed control for the
fan and light switch pressed for 3 seconds until the
tank no longer lights up blue.
To order more filters, please contact our customer
service. The contact details can be found on the last
