– Before first use, remove and safely discard all promotional labels and packing
materials.
– Wash bean hopper with lid, cradles, grind container, container lid and cleaning
brush in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
– Wipe exterior of grinder with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
– Place grinder on flat level surface and plug power cord into suitable outlet.
InStAllInG And FIllInG beAn hopper
Align tabs and properly position bean hopper. Turn the bean hopper dial clockwise
90 ° (in the direction indicated by the LOCK arrow) to lock it into position on the
burrs.
Fill with coffee beans and place lid airtight on top of bean hopper.
The bean hopper can be removed by turning the knob counter-
clockwise (in the direction indicated by the UNLOCK arrow)
and pulling it out.
The locking system allows you to remove and transfer the hopper
without having to remove the coffee beans.
NOTE: If the bean hopper has not been locked properly into position, LOCK BEAN
HOPPER will be displayed on the LCD screen, interrupting the operation of the grin-
der for your own safety.
