When both the main unit and the remote control have buttons with
the same functions, the instructions in this manual refer to only the
main unit buttons, but the remote buttons can be used in the same
way .

This button is not used with the Grandioso P1X .

Use to select tracks .

REPEAT button
Use for repeat playback (page 21) .
Press and hold to enter program mode (page 22) .

PLAY AREA button

When stopped, press to change the playback area of a Super
Audio CD (page 20) .

INPUT (k/j) buttons

These buttons are not used with the Grandioso P1X . They can be
used to switch the inputs of ESOTERIC amplifiers .

SETUP button
This button is not used with the Grandioso P1X . It can be used
with other ESOTERIC products, including amplifiers .

DIMMER button
Use to adjust the brightness of the main unit's display (page 23) .

Tray OPEN/CLOSE (-) button
Press to open and close the disc tray (page 18) .

DISPLAY button
During playback or when paused, press this button to change
what is shown on the display (page 23) .

Skip (.//) buttons
Use to skip to the previous or next track (page 21) .
During playback or when paused, press and hold a skip
(.//) button (for at least one second) until searching
backward/forward starts .
Continuing to press and hold will accelerate the backward/
forward search speed . Release the button to resume playback or
return to a paused state (page 20) .
Use to change parameters when in setting mode (page 24) .
