USING THE POUR OVER COFFEE CONE
ALTITUDE BOILING POINT REFERENCE GUIDE
This chart shows the boiling point of water at different altitudes. Please refer to this
chart when preparing water for brewing and be aware of the boiling point in your
particular area to prevent scalding your coffee grounds.
GETTING READY TO BREW
IMPORTANT: Before first use, wash the Pour Over Coffee Cone by hand in warm, soapy
water, or in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Depending on the amount of coffee

you're brewing, place your Cone on a
mug or carafe (KCM0260 shown).
To rinse the filter and preheat the
cone and mug: Pour hot water into

the cone, making sure to wet all of
the filter.

Wait 30 seconds for the Cone and
