USING THE POUR OVER COFFEE CONE
INTRODUCTION TO POUR OVER COFFEE
Although the pour over brewing method
has been around for nearly one hundred
years, it has recently gained in popularity.
More coffee aficionados are choosing the
method to deliver their perfect cup, as the
technique of slowly pouring water over the

While pour over cones can be constructed
from a number of different materials,
ceramic is preferred for its heat retention
and durability. Made of commercial-grade
BREW SUGGESTIONS
The below suggestions are points of reference. KitchenAid recommends that you
experiment with coffee-to-water ratio and grind size to find the perfect formula for your
preferred cup of coffee.
In order to determine how much coffee to use, it's easiest to first decide on the amount
of water needed for your finished coffee. For example, 296 g of water and 17.4 g of
coffee grounds will produce enough coffee for a 10-ounce (296 mL) serving.
