It also involves the risk of a fatal electric shock!
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply.
This process may take several hours.
Make sure the insulation of the whole product is neither damaged nor destroyed and never
disassemble it.
Check the product for damage before each use!
If you observe any damages, you must not use the product. Damaged
mains adapters pose mortal risks through electric shock!
In such an event, take the device to a specialist workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly way, see Section 12.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
- the device is visibly damaged,
- - the device is no longer functional and
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- if it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
When installing the device, make sure the cables are not bent or jammed. Place the cables in
a way so that nobody can falling over it.
Please note:
The transmitter sends sounds via 40MHz technology. As other baby phones
also operate with products from this frequency range, sounds and discussions
cfrom the room of your child ould be played back on your neighbour's baby
phone.
You should only switch on the product, when you need it.
Do not place the device on valuable furniture without using a suitable surface. The device feet
could leave pressure marks; chemical reactions between the housing plastic and the furniture
surface are also conceivable. These may leave stains.
