b) Receiver
The receiver can be operated like the transmitter with standard 9V block batteries (alkaline typ
recommended) if it is to be operated at changing places.
To this end, the battery compartment lid (7) can pushed out slightly at the
bottom (see arrow marking on the battery compartment lid) and then carefully
opened. Connect the battery with the battery clip, insert the battery in the
battery compartment and close it.
For longer operation, however, we recommend you use the supplied mains adapter (both
mains parts are equal).
Connect the low voltage adapter with the socket (5) on the receiver. Put the
plug-in power supply into a mains socket.
The receiver can either be placed on a sufficiently large, even, stable surface or fitted in the
suitable position with the clip (6) on the rear (e.g. on the belt). A hole in the clip serves for fitting
on a wall hook or screw, for instance.
Move the slide switch (3) from the "OFF" position to positions "1" or "2" in order to select
channels "1" or "2". The red LED (4) for operation display lights up.
Please observe that the same channel must be set on the transmitter and
receiver; otherwise to sound is transmitted.
Turn the volume control (9) up until you achieve the desired volume.
The LEDs (8) display sound transmission optically. The louder the received sound, the more
LEDs light up.
