You should read this booklet before installing, starting and operating the appliance. This manual
is an integral part of the product.
Carefully read all notices and instructions contained in this booklet because they provide important
information on safe operation and maintenance of the machine. Special attention should be
paid to the general operating instructions section.

Our steam generators are manufactured in accordance with the applicable safety norms and
regulations.
Anyone using the appliance must be familiar with the contents of this booklet.
CLASSIFICATION
When operating the appliance, users should comply with the conditions of use laid out by current
regulations, in particular with the classification described below:
For the purposes of individuals protection from electric shocks, the steam/vacuum appliance is
classified as a Class I appliance.
Always apply to your local retailer or to a Service Centre when replacing a thermal limiting device.
The steam/vacuum appliance is factory calibrated and all safety devices contained within it are
sealed. Altering manufacturer calibration of safety devices is strictly forbidden.
The steam/vacuum appliance must be operated on solid and level floors at all times. Non-compliance
with this requirement can pose a hazard.
The steam/vacuum appliance must not be used within corrosive or potentially explosive environments
(presence of vapours, gases).
Electrical connection must be carried out in compliance with applicable regulations (for Italy, keep
to the provisions of Law no. 46/90) and in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Check that the
current carrying capacity of the electrical system and sockets is proportionate to the maximum power
(W) of the appliance as specified on the appliance data plate. If in doubt, contact a qualified
technician. Ask a qualified technician to fit the appliance with a suitable plug if so requested.
