Please note, for trouble-free operation:
− Do not use USB connections designed for use in office environments, e.g.
such as the USB to CAN adapter from HBM, for industrial environments.
− Only use high-quality cables and devices, e.g. managed switches, for the
network components. Interferences caused by low-quality network compo-
nents can only be detected with great expense and therefore result in exces-
sively high costs during troubleshooting.
− Ensure that the hardware used meets the minimum requirements of the re-
spective software. The faster the processes being monitored and the more
data, e.g. process data and curves, needs to be saved, the faster the PC must
be capable of being able to process them.
− Ensure that the PC is sufficiently ventilated and cooled, even under unfavor-
able conditions (hot days).
− Ensure that regular backups are implemented for important data.
