l'installation.

vices de fabrication une fois le produit installé.
Aucun produit ne peut être retourné au manufacturier ou rem-
placé s'il a été endommagé ou altéré durant l'installation (trou
de perceuse ou autre). Dans tous les cas, VANICO-MARONYX ne
peut être tenue responsable des bris, dommages ou pertes
de matériel pouvant survenir lors de l'installation.

INSTRUCTIONS AVANT L'INSTALLATION
Le plastique protecteur qui recouvre le receveur doit
demeurer en place jusqu'à la fin des travaux d'installation.
ATTENTION !
LE RECEVEUR DOIT ÊTRE INSTALLÉ DIRECTEMENT CON-
TRE LES MONTANTS ET NON CONTRE LE MUR FINI.
Avant de commencer,
1.
Vérifiez bien les dimensions de l'emplacement du
receveur de douche.
2.
L'orifice de renvoi doit avoir un diamètre de 2 ¼ po
(5.7 cm), il doit recevoir un raccord de vidange d'un
diamètre de 2 po (5 cm). Assurez-vous que le raccord
de vidange s'aligne bien avec l'orifice de renvoi et
qu'il dépasse d'au moins un pouce de la surface du
plancher.
3.
Assurez vous que le plancher est nettoyé et bien de
niveau. Positionnez le receveur contre les 2 x 4 du
mur.
4.
Fixez le raccord de vidange. Mettez le recev-
eur de niveau dans tous les sens. Assurez-vous que
l'ouverture dans le plancher a les dimensions requi-
ses pour votre receveur (référez-vous auxaux pages
d'installation). Assurez-vous que le bout du tuyau
d'évacuation est bien centré et qu'il dépasse de la
surface du plancher d'au moins 1 po (2.5 cm).
5.
Faites le joint du raccord de vidange et coupez
l'excédent du tuyau d'évacuation.
6.
Fixez le panneau de gypse hydrofuge à 1/4 po (0,6
cm) au-dessus de la bride d'étanchéité. Scellez ce
joint avec un scellant souple.

under warranty if it has been altered during installation such
as drill holes, screws, sawing, etc. VANICO-MARONYX will not
be held responsible for damages occuring during installation.
READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
BEFORE INSTALLATION
The shower pan is covered with a plastic protector, which
should be left intact until installation is complete.
ATTENTION!
THE SHOWER BASE MUST BE INSTALLED DIRECTLY
AGAINST THE STUDS, NOT AGAINST THE FINISHED
WALL.
Before starting,
1.
Double-check the dimensions of the installation site of
the shower pan.
2.
The diameter of the outlet hole must be 2¼" (5.7 cm)
and be wide enough to receive a drainage fitting mea-
suring 2" (5.1 cm) in diameter. Make sure that the outlet
hole is well aligned with drainage fitting and it exceeds
at least an inch from the surface of the floor.
3.
Make sure that the floor is clean and leveled. Position
the shower pan against the wall studs.
4.
Fix the drain fitting. Level the shower pan in all direc-
tions. Make sure that the opening in the floor has the
required dimensions for the shower pan (refer to the
installation pages). Check also that the en of the
drainpipe is perfectly centered and that it projects
at least 1" (2.5 cm) beyond the surface of the floor.
5.
Make the drain fitting and cut excess drain hose.
6.
Install the waterproof gypsum panel 1/4" (0.6 cm)
above the sealing flange. Caulk the joint with a soft
sealing compound.
