F - CLEANING AND STORAGE
Once your stove has fully cooled:
1 - Cleaning

- Clean the stove having removed the cartridge.

- Clean the pan support (4) and the cartridge exterior and
cover (3) with warm water, then dry with a cloth.

A dirty burner will clog the holes of the flame.
Clean the flame holes of burner head with a metal brush
ignition plug (6)
if the electrode gets wet, the stove will not light. make sure
any water is removed, and dry with a cloth.
stainless steel:
stainless steel is known for its ability to resist corrosion and
rust. however, dirt, dust, grime and non-appropriate cleaners
put stainless steel at risk for corrosion and rust. stainless
steel responds well to cleaning as long as certain rules are
followed
DO :
y Read carefully the instructions on the cleaning products
and make sure it's appropriate for stainless steel. ideally,
use specific stainless steel cleaners. pay special attention

to some of them which can be inappropriate for paints,
these look like aluminium or stainless steel and can erase
markings.
y use a safe, non-abrasive sponge. brush in the direction of
the grain of the metal.
y Rinse thoroughly.
y Always dry the surface with a soft towel or cloth. A
microfibre towel is preferable.
DON'T :
y never leave wet sponges, cloths, or cleaning pads on the
stainless steel surface.
y never leave solutions of chlorine bleach and water on
your stainless steel surface. Chlorides, which are found in
most soaps, detergents, bleaches, and cleansers, are very
aggressive to stainless steel.
y never use oven cleaners that contain caustic chemicals.
y Do not use paper towel or scratch-sponges.
2 - Storage and transportation
- Check that the lever (2) is in the unloCk position (fig. 10).
- Always remove the gas cartridge from the stove during
storage or transportation.
- store the stove and the cartridge in a cool, dry and well-
ventilated area, out of reach of children. never store in a
basement or cellar.
