– Undo the wheel cap (15) from the wheels (12)
and secure to the ends of the axis (11) using nuts
(16) and washers (17).
– Attach the wheel caps (15) back onto the
wheels (12).
Inserting the undercarriage
Figure 3
– Place the undercarriage (10) on screws on the
lower section of the housing.
– Use suitable tools to secure the nuts (18).
Use the collection bag
Figure 1
– Clamp the holding loops of the collection bag
(14) in the holders (13) on both sides of the
product.
Operation
Check before starting the device!
DANGER! Risk of injury!
The product may only be put
into operation if there are no
faults can be found. If a part is
defective, it must be replaced
before the product is used
again.
Check to make sure the product is in a safe
operating condition:
– Check to make sure that the feed hopper is
empty.
– Make sure that all parts sit tightly.
– When feeding material into the feed hopper
never stand on a higher surface than the product.
Chipping
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Overloading caused, for exam-
ple, by a blocked blade drum
or material that is too thick will
cause the product to come to a
standstill after a few seconds.
The overload protection of the
motor switches off the power
supply automatically to pro-
tect the motor from damage.
Wait at least one minute, then
press the reset button (4) for a
restart, set the directional
switch (5) to reverse and then
press the On/Off switch (6).
Note: The product has a
safety function that prevents it
accidentally starting up again
after power failure.
Starting the product
Figure 4
– Plug the power supply cord into a outlet(7).
Figure 5
– Press the On/Off switch (6).
– The product starts.
– Put the directional switch (5) into the required
position.
•A: Material to be cut is pulled in automatically,
forwards operation (continuous use).
www.Deuba24online.de
•B: Material to be cut is pushed backwards
through the feed hopper, reverse operation
(push-button operation).
•C: With the switch in the middle position, the
blade drum does not rotate.
Before
Note:
direction, always switch the
product off and wait until the
blade drum has come to a
standstill.
– Before starting work, wait
until the product has reached
working speed.
Instructions for chipping
Noise disturbance! Work
with the product is not allowed
during customary rest periods.
•Cut up organic garden residues may be used as
biological fertiliser for the garden. Put biological-
ly degradable material such as leaves, branches
and grass into the feed hopper (1) in measured
quantities to prevent blocking.
•Cut material can be collected in a container
below the ejection opening (9).
•Only feed in material in quantities that do not
block the feed hopper (1).
•Alternate between twigs and garden rubbish
that has been stored for several days and is thus
limp and damp. This prevents the blade drum
from blocking.
•Soft waste such as kitchen waste is not suitable
for the chipper and should be composted.

•Before new material is fed in, heavily branched
material with leaves must be completely cut up.
•Heavy material or branches will cause the
chipper to block if you attempt to cut them with
no breaks. Pull the material out by hand a short
way in order to counteract this problem, or use
changing
the directional switch (5).
•Carefully inspect the material to be cut. The
product may become seriously damaged from
stones, nails or similar objects.
Strong vibration of the product indicates
damaged or blunt blades. In this case, replace
blades.
Removing blockages
Figure 6
– Switch the directional switch (5) to the reverse
position, and switch on the product.
– The blade drums rotates backwards and releas-
es the trapped material. You may need to press
the On/Off switch a number of times in order to
free up the blockage.
– To continue working, switch the product off,
switch the directional switch (5) to the forwards
position and turn the product on.
– In the event of stubborn blockages, the gap
between the pressure plate and the blade drum
can be increased. To do this, turn the adjustment
screw (8) anti-clockwise and use the directional
switch (5) to bring the blade drum to the reverse
position. When the trapped material is freed, the
pressure plate must be adjusted back again.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
Clean the cutting tool carefully.
Even when the product is
switched off and the cutting
blades are stopped, the cutting
tools may still move.
