Electrical safety
•The plug of the product must fit into the socket.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use an
adapter in conjunction with protectiveearth
power tools. Unmodified plugs and the appropri-
ate sockets reduce the risk of electrical shock.
•Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
•Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
•When the power is interrupted, switch the
product off and unplug at the mains. This
prevents accidental start up of the product when
power is restored.
•In the event of power interruption and
whenever the product is put down, make sure
that the locking button is unlocked and, if not,
unlock. Otherwise the product may switch on
unexpectedly when the power is restored.
•Do not misuse the cable by using it to carry the
product, to hang it up or to pull the plug out of
the socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving machine parts. Damaged
or wound cables increase the risk of an electrical
shock.
•In the event that the connection cable is
damaged, it may only be replaced by a specialist.
