Tips for work
Drilling into walls and concrete
Select the "hammer" position with the drill / hammer
function switch. When drilling in masonry, concrete,
etc., you should always use tungsten carbide drills at
low speed.
Drilling steel
Select the "drill" position with the drill / hammer func-
tion switch. When drilling steel, you should always
use HSS drill bits at high speed.
Screwing
Select the "drill" position with the drill / hammer func-
tion switch. Use low speed and tighten or remove the
screw.
Guide wells When drilling large holes in solid material
(eg steel), we recommend that you first drill a small
guide hole before using a larger drill bit.
Drilling tiles
Select the "drill" position with the drill / hammer func-
tion switch. As you walk through the tile, switch to the
"hammer" position.
Engine cooling
If the drill becomes too hot, let it idle for 2-3 minutes
to allow the motor to cool.
