ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them in a safe place.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
! Failure to follow the instructions in this manual may
result in injury.
! The hammer drill complies with the applicable tech-
nical regulations and standards.
! The drill must always be firmly seated in the chuck.
! The power cord must be routed from the back of the
drill and far enough away from the drill.
Before starting work, use a metal detector to find out
if there is a hidden metal pipe or electrical line in the
work area. Damage to the gas line can result in an
explosion.
! When using the tool, always wear safety goggles
according to accessories. standards or other suitable
eye protection /e.g. the protective shield/. Wear a dust
mask or respirator in areas where dust is generated.
Goggles or other eye protection will bounce off frag-
ments of material that could endanger your face or
eyes. Blowing dust or gases released by drilled ma-
terial (eg asbestos-insulated pipes, radon) can cause
breathing difficulties.
! Always use the auxiliary handle (6) when working
with these tools.
! Always hold the drill firmly with both hands and
stand in a stable position.
! Caution, external metal parts, drills or accessories
may be hot after use. There is a risk of burns.
! Use of accessories not recommended by the manu-
facturer or not supplied with the product may result in
fire, electric shock, or serious injury.
! Any adjustment or modification of the device without
the authorization of our company may cause injury or
damage to the user.

This hammer drill is designed for drilling in wood,
metal, plastics, stone and concrete, as well as for
tightening and loosening screws.

USE AND OPERATION
ASIST tools are intended for home or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and importer do not recommend
using this tool in extreme conditions and under high
loads.
Any additional requirements must be the subject of
an agreement between the manufacturer and the
customer.
Auxiliary handle assembly (B)
For safety reasons,
use this device only with the auxiliary handle.
Turn the screw in the opposite direction of movement
clockwise and swing the auxiliary handle to the desi-
red position.
Then retighten the screw
Drilling depth limiter attachment (C)
Open the screw.
Be sure to keep the gearing at depth
stop pointed down.
Pull out the depth stop as far as it will go
the distance between the drill bit tip and the depth
stop tip corresponded to the required drilling depth.
Secure the locking screw
Inserting the drill bit into the chuck
! Always unplug the power cord before inserting or
removing the drill or screwdriver bit.
The drill is equipped with a quick-release chuck with
automatic spindle locking.
Open the chuck. The chuck hole must be
large enough to allow a tool (drill,
resp. bit) clamp.
Choose the appropriate tool. Insert the tool into the
chuck hole as far as it will go.
