INSTRUcTIONS
• Slide up the battery compartment cover • Insert 3 AA Alkaline batteries (1.5 V)
• To switch on, slide the switch to ON position: the Green LED (B) of the MOde
button lights.
If the unit is out of self-leveling range, the laser beams will flash• When the instru-
ment is powered on, it is ready for indoors operations, with greater visibility without
receiver.
To enable the eXTeRNAL operations using the receiver (separately available), press
the detector button: the green LED (A) lights above it
• To change the laser beams projection, press the MOde button repeatedly:
- 1 time = auto-leveled horizontal line
- 2 times = auto-leveled cross (horizontal + vertical lines)
- 3 times = square (2 vertical lines and 1 horizontal line)
- 4 times = the rays go off, but the device is switched on yet

• Adjust the instrument in the self-leveling range by rotating the feet: the circular
bubble must be inside the circle.
• If the laser beams are flashing, the instrument is outside the self-leveling range
• Reposition the instrument as indicated above
• To switch the instrument off ROTATe the knob in the OFF position: the pendulum
remains locked for transport
• The red dot on the floor and the cross of the 2 vertical lines on the ceiling indicate
the plumb
• To make micrometric displacements, rotate the two screws "V" (photo) at the
base of the instrument.
• To switch the instrument off permanently move the switch to the OFF position
• Feet are rubber coated.
