INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Shiatsu Pro Massage Cushion comes with a screw located on the back of the unit to protect
the massage mechanism during shipment, which must be removed before the first use to allow the
massage feature to function. Use the provided Allen wrench. Then, properly dispose of the screw.
Warning: Failure to remove screw may cause permanent damage to the massage cushion.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this unit is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade wider
than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper
outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
1. Untie cord strap, extend cord, and insert plug into a 120-volt household electrical outlet to
power the unit.
2. Attach the cushion to most chairs for a luxurious massage as you read, rest, or even work. See
pages 8–9 for instructions on the use of the hand control.
STRAPPING SYSTEM
The massage cushion incorporates a unique strapping system that allows you to fasten it to almost
any chair. Just slip the straps over the seat or chair and adjust fastening straps to secure. Your
massager won't slip or slide away.
Caution: To avoid pinching, do not lean on the back massage mechanism in the cushion when
adjusting your body position. Do not jam or force any part of your body in the moving massage
mechanism.
Caution: DO NOT use spot shiatsu with heat for the back in one area for more than 3 minutes.
Note: There is a 15-minute auto shut-off on the unit for your safety.
