3.1 SWITCHING ON THE UNIT
Press the STANDBY/FUNC. button on the front cabinet to turn on unit.
Note: If you don't use the unit for a long time, disconnect the AC power cord from
the household wall outlets.
Note: In CD/MP3/USB/AUX/CASSETTE mode, when the unit is not providing the
main function for around 15 minutes, the unit will automatically switch into
standby mode. Press the STANDBY/FUNC. button to turn on the unit again.
Please note that low volume setting in the audio source may be recognized as "no
audio signal", this will affect the capability of signal detection from the device and
can also originate an automatic switch into standby mode. If this happens please
reactivate the audio signal transmission or increase the volume setting on the audio
source player in order to resume playback.
Electrostatic Discharge hints – The unit may reset or may not reset to normal
operation mode due to electrostatic discharge, just switch it off and reconnect
again.
4 BASS BOOST SYSTEM
The DBBS BUTTON controls the bass of the unit. Bass sound is the lower frequency
ranges of sound. The knob can be pushed to OFF or ON position, When the DBBS is
on, the unit boosts (increases) the sound output of the bass frequencies.
5 DAB RADIO OPERATION
DAB radio mode receives DAB/DAB+ digital radio and displays information about
the station and programmed/track as broadcast. Press the FUNCTION button until
display reads "Welcome to DAB".
5.1 Scanning for stations
1.
To do a full scan, press the STOP/MENU button to enter menu selection,
rotate the tuning control or press the
scan" option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN button on the unit.
Once a full scan is complete, the radio returns to play the previously-selected
station or first station on the station list.

To choose between the scanned station list, press the
to scroll through the list of stations and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/
SCAN button to confirm. The Now playing screen will display the new station
details.
3.
To remove stations that are listed but unavailable, press the STOP/MENU
button to enter menu selection, rotate the tuning control or press the
button to select the "Prune" option and press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/
SCAN button to enter, press the
option, then press the PLAY/PAUSE/SELECT/SCAN button to confirm. This
removes all invalid stations, indicated in the station list with a "?" in front of
the station name.
