Warning! Read the instruction manual before operating this machine or prior to
carrying any intervention (e.g. cleaning, maintenance, repair ...) on the tool.
Follow all warnings and safety precautions to avoid a danger
Caution! Risk of injury and/or damage and/or deterioration of product in case of
noncompliance to safety requirements
Do not expose to rain or weather conditions to avoid the risk of rust.
Do not use or leave outdoors under rain.
Danger! Rotating blades. Do not touch.
Keep hands and feet away from the cutting cylinder during operation.
Keep all parts of your body (and especially the hands and feet) outside the cutting
area.
Do not attempt to clean debris when the blades rotate
Keep persons (esp. children) and animals away from product and working area
(min. 5m). Stop tool as soon as someone enters the working area.
Warning! Projection hazard (e.g. stones or other objects...)
Wear eye protective equipment such as goggles
Wear protective gloves when using or for any intervention on the tool.
Wear protective boots with non-slippery soles during operation.
3.1- General safety instructions
1. Consider work area environment
- Do not expose tool to rain, moisture or humidity, to avoid rust.
- Work only if there is good lighting (i.e. sunlight or sufficient artificial light).
- Beware of your stability when working on wet, frozen ground or slopes.
2. Keep other persons away
- Do not let persons, especially children, not involved in the work touch the tool and keep them
away from the work area.
- Only operator or user must be in working area. Keep children, animals and spectators at a safe
distance
- Keep the product away from children or from their environment. Never allow children to operate
the tool. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the tool.
3. Store idle tools
When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry locked-up place, out of reach of children.
4. Use the right tool
- Do not force small tools to do the job of a heavy-duty tool.
- Do not use tool for purposes not intended or for unsuitable purposes
- Only use the machine for the purposes described in the instructions manual
5. Dress properly – Wear proper working clothing!
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery; they can be caught in moving parts.
- It is recommended to wear non-slippery shoes. Never operate the machine with barefoot or open
sandals.
- Wear protective gloves.
- Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.
