Tips
- Smaller foods usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger foods.
- Shaking smaller foods halfway through the preparation time optimizes the result and can
help obtain an evenly cooked batch.
- Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the air fryer right
after marinating them.
- Do not prepare extremely runny or greasy ingredients such as sausages or bacon in the air fryer.
- The optimal amount of air fried French fries for a crispy and tender texture is 500 g or 1.1 lbs.
- When baking, pre-made dough requires a shorter preparation time than homemade dough.
- Place a baking tin or oven dish in the air fryer basket for baking a cake or quiche or if you
want to fry fragile or stuffed foods.
- You can also use the air fryer to reheat cooked foods. To reheat, set the temperature to
300°F for up to 10 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Clean the appliance after each use.
Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may
damage the non-stick coating.
1.
Remove the main plug from the wall outlet and let the appliance cool down.
Note: Remove the outer pot to let the unit cool down more quickly.
2.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth.
3.
Clean the outer pot and basket in hot soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge.
Note: You can also put the outer pot and basket in the dishwasher.
Tip: If dirt is stuck to the basket or the bottom of the outer pot, fill the outer pot with
hot soapy water, put the basket in the outer pot and let the outer pot and basket soak
for approximately 10 minutes.
4.
Once the appliance has cooled down, clean the heating element with a non-abrasive
cleaning brush to remove any food residues.
