ELECTRIC CONNECTION
Only electric connection must be carried out by a skilled technician.
Failure to comply with this rule renders the guarantee invalid. The same applies to repair
jobs and/or replacements.
Ensure that the mains voltage is the same as the value shown on the electropump plate.
The mains must have an efficient earth system complying with the electrical standards in force in the
user's country; the installer is responsible for checking this.
Fixed pumping stations must always be provided with an automatic switch with an intervention
current of less than 30 mA.
For connection to the power mains, the electropump is provided with a cable complying with IEC
standards.
The single-phase version has a plug complying with EEC, with double earth contact; earthing is
provided by the plug itself when it is inserted in the socked.
Single-phase motors are provided with built-in thermal overload protection and may be connected
directly to the mains. The three-phase version has a three-pole power cable with earth.
Three-phase electropumps must be protected with motor protectors suitably calibrated according to
he values on the data plate of the electropump to be installed.
Only electric connection must be carried out by a skilled technician.
Failure to comply with this rule renders the guarantee invalid.
The same applies to repair jobs and/or replacements.

The electropump should not be started more than 20 times in one hour so as not to subject the
motor to excessive thermal shock.
On three-phase electropumps, check the direction of rotation of the motor.
The impeller must turn in a clockwise direction when viewing the electropump from above.
(See the arrow on the electropump) As it is not possible to check the direction of rotation of the
impeller visually, proceed as follows: before anchoring the electropump in the system, connect the
power cables to the electric panel and switch on the main switch for a moment; the electropump will
start up immediately with a recoil. If the electropump is turning in the right direction, the recoil will
be anti-clockwise, viewing the electropump from the top.
For make the electropump in automatic version, we need the floath switch.
The only thing that needs checking once installation is complete is the lenght of the cable float (in
versions that have one) with respect to the minimum and maximum water level.
N.B. Before carrying out any maintenance operations, disconnect the plug and/or switch off.
