SATA1~10: SATA 6Gb/s Connectors
These connectors are SATA 6Gb/s interface ports. Each connector can connect to one
SATA device.
SE1_65: SATAe Connector
This connector is a SATAe (SATA Express) interface port. Each SATAe connector can be
used with a single SATAe device or two legacy SATA devices.
Important
SATAe port (include SATA 5~6) will be unavailable when installing M.2 SATA storage
y
in M.2 slot.
SATAe port (include SATA 5~6) will be unavailable when installing PCIe storage
y
devices in both U.2 port and M.2 slot (for the motherboard with 28- PCIe lanes CPU
only).
Please do not fold the SATA or SATAe cable at a 90-degree angle. Data loss may
y
result during transmission otherwise.
SATA or SATAe cables have identical plugs on either sides of the cable. However, it
y
is recommended that the flat connector be connected to the motherboard for space
saving purposes.
