OPERATION
•
Press the push-button control or lever to open the valve.
AB Model: valve opens by pressing then releasing the push-button.
•
Timed automatic shut-off after ~7 seconds for basins, ~3 or ~7 seconds
(depending on the model) for urinals and ~30 seconds for showers
(+5/-10 at 3 bar according to the European standard EN-NF 816).
•
Different time flows: TEMPOSTOP swan neck spout ~3 seconds,
TEMPOSTOP chain control showers and 1/2" TEMPOSTOP showers
~15 seconds.
FLOW RATE ADJUSTMENT
The flow rate is pre-set at 3 lpm for basins, 12 lpm for showers (refs fitted
with ROUND, TONIC JET or GYM shower heads: 6 lpm) and 0.15 l/sec
for urinals (refs 779128 and 779427: 0.25 l/sec). The flow rate can be
adjusted without shutting off the water or removing the mechanism
(Fig. G, H p.22).
INSTALLATION
•
Pressure: 1 - 5 bar (100 - 500kPa), we recommend 3 bar (300kPa).
Maximum pressure differential at the inlets: 1 bar.
•
Take care not to pinch the flexibles. Under no circumstances should
the non-return valves integrated in the water inlets be removed (they
are essential).
•
Simple valve: supply with cold or mixed water.
•
Mixer valve: Supply with cold water and hot water at 70°C maximum
(we recommend 45°C to avoid the risk of scalding).
THE INSTALLER MUST ENSURE:
•
THE SEAL AROUND THE RECESSING HOUSING IS WATERPROOF
TO PREVENT ANY INGRESS OF WATER;
•
ANY WATER ACCIDENTALLY ENTERING THE RECESSING HOUSING
(E.G. CONDENSATION, RUN OFF, LEAKS, ETC.) HAS AN EXTERNAL
DRAINAGE POINT TO PREVENT ANY STAGNATION;
•
THE INTEGRITY OF THE SEALS BETWEEN THE STAINLESS STEEL
WALL PLATE AND THE WALL OR THE WALL PLATE AND THE VALVE
AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR, AND MAKE GOOD IF NECESSARY.
