- The surface temperature poses no risk of burning!
- Damaging or dangerous residues which are left in the fan by the media conveyed are removed using suitable means. Dangerous or harmful
deposits can cause injuries on skin or respiratory systems or by allergic reactions
- Restarting is not carried out before the safety checks are completed as laid out in chapter 6. "Commissioning/ Safety checks".
Excluded from this are tasks which can only be carried out in operating mode under observance of the relevant safety and accident regulations:
e.g. vibration measurement, shock pulse measurement.
The regulations and safety instructions concerning this professional area have to be respected.
Disregard of these points may endanger the service personnel.
Service and checks of fans in accordance to VDMA 24 186-1:
Type, scope, and intervals as all other service actions have to be determined in function of the use of the fan and of the surround-
ing conditions.

- Do not use a high pressure cleaner (steam jet cleaner)! Short circuits or motor damages can be the consequences of a wrong motor
cleaning method.
- Leaking connectors must be replaced as they result in faults and danger caused by the escape of media being conveyed. A good
function of the installation can only be guaranteed with intact components. Escaping mediums can cause injuries on skin or respira-
tory systems or by allergic reactions
- Only use the appropriate original Gebhardt spare parts from the spare parts list. GebhardtVentilatoren accepts no liability for dam-
age resulting from the use of parts other than original Gebhardt parts!
- Before restarting an installation make all checks described with chapter "Start up/safety checks of the maintenance instructions.
Otherwise there will be a hazard for the maintenance personal.
If the state of the fan does not allow adapted action for repair it has to be put out of order immediately and to be replaced if required!
Unfitting of the motor impeller
Before any intervention on the fan all safety instructions concerning setting it tension free (isolate fan from mains by isolator switch
and at main board on all poles)
Electrical tension inherits danger of death.
DV 30
- Take off the fan cowl (1)
- Check whether no tension at isolator (2)
- Unfasten both grids (3)
- Disconnect motor connection cable from isolator (2)
- Unscrew motor support (5)
- Take out the complete unit
- Unfasten motor-impeller unit (6) from support
Assembly to made in inverse sequence
