The roof fans are made to the latest technological standards and meet the fundamental requirements for health and safety in the EG machinery
directive.
DV fans provide a high level of operational safety and a high standard of quality which is guaranteed by a certified quality management system
(EN ISO 9001).
All fans pass though a quality control system before leaving the factory and are given a test seal.
All fans, however, are potential sources of danger,
- if they are not installed, operated and serviced by qualified personnel.
- if they are not used as intended.
The above may cause danger to personnel and can result in damage to plant and buildings. Product performance may also be impaired.
Attention!
This operating manual must be read and followed by all personnel instructed to work on the fan.
The operating manual
- describes the intended use of the fan and prevents misuse
- contains safety precautions which must be followed
- gives warning of dangers which could arise even when used as intended
- provides important advice for operating the fan safely and economically and helps to ensure full product effectiveness.
- is to be supplemented by standards/regulations/directives for specific fields and countries.

This caution sign indicates the parts in the operating manual which should receive special attention so that the correct procedures
are followed to avoid damage to the fan.
Danger by electrical tension on electrical devices! Don't ever get in contact with electrical parts while the installation is switched on!
There may be a danger of injury or death by a electrical impact. Connection tappings are under tension at any time, even while the
installation is switch off.

DV 30 series
Casing and base plate with intake cone made of galvanised steel.
At intake there is a connection to flanges acc. to DIN 24 155-2 Discharge covered with a aerodynamical optimised weather guard.
Centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades fitted to the rotor of an integrated motor - fully speed controlled - vibration isolated, dynami-
cally balanced, motor protection by thermo contacts implemented in the motor windings.
Roof fan ready for being connected to isolator already fitted under weather cowl.
DV 40 up to 125 series
V-casing of galvanised sheet steel. Base plate made of galvanised sheet steel for being fitted directly on a base frame, large overhung for
thermal insulation.
At intake there is a connection to flanges acc. to DIN 24 155-2
Weather guard fitted in discharge section.
Centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades fitted to the rotor of an integrated motor - fully speed controlled - vibration isolated, dynami-
