INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (Column for shower cubicle)
Premise
To obtain an ideal shower column installation, the shower head (item 7) should be positioned
at a height of 2000 mm from the floor (i.e. distance between the lower side of the shower
head and the shower tray).
Therefore, before installing the shower column, you are advised to check the dimensions
and the connections in your bathroom, as follows:
1)
It is important to check the connection system of your tap fittings. To install our column, the
shower tap (mixer, thermostatic or traditional) must be at a height of not less than 800
mm from the floor, therefore your installer will simply have to adjust the length of the tube
(3) depending on the position of the shower tap.
2)
Check the maximum height of your bathroom, taking into account that the ideal overall
product dimensions reach a height of 2240 mm from the floor. See (Dwg B).
3)
Fit the shower tap (1) to the wall.
4)
Fit the three-way diverter valve (2) to the tap.
NB: in case the connection of the mixer is ¹₂ "M kindly use the ³₄"M x ¹₂"F adapter included
in the packaging.
5)
Use a pencil to mark the recommended height of 1860 mm on the wall (Dwg B), ensuring
that the hole is perpendicular and perfectly lined up with the shower tap. Fix the flange (4a)
to the wall, checking that the closing dowel is positioned on the side of the flange (4a) in
order to make adjustment easier during the locking phase.
6)
Temporarily fit part of the column. Insert the arm (6) into the bracket (4), slightly tightening the
nut (4b), insert the pipe (3) all the way into the bracket (4), then slightly tighten the nut (4c).
Rest the column against the wall and insert the bracket (4) into the flange (4a). Place the pipe
(3) next to the diverter valve (2), and use a felt-tip pen to mark the excess pipe dimension to
be cut, with reference to the top end of the diverter valve (2a), see (Dwg C).
NB: The wall bracket (4) is provided with a standard spacer which allows the distance to
be adjusted between 52 and 68 mm from the wall. (See drawing no. T05500901).
In the case of shower taps with a distance greater than 68 mm from the wall, use the special
spacer included in the packaging (See drawing no. T05500201) which allows the distance
to be adjusted from 68 to 83 mm.
7)
After cutting the pipe (3) proceed to final installation.
8)
Fix the arm (6) into the bracket (4), and screw the nut (4b). Fit the shower rest (5) on to the
pipe (3). Insert the pipe (3) all the way into the bracket (4). Then insert the column all the way
into the diverter valve (2). Finally, tighten the nut (2a). Insert and lock the assembled column
in the flange (4a) using the appropriate Allen key.
8
9)
Fit the shower head (7).
10)
Finally, fit the flexible hose (8) and the handshower (9), then fix the shower rest (5)
at the required height, using the appropriate Allen key.
NB: Make sure that all the nuts (4b, 4c, 2a) are carefully tightened until they are fully
locked.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (Column for bathtub)
Premise
It is usually easier to install a shower column connected to a bathtub tap, which is normally
positioned at a lower height than that of a shower cubicle.
1)
Assemble the shower column, rest it on the tap to check the overall dimensions of your
bathroom, according to the following instructions: fix the arm (6) into the bracket (4), screw
the nut (4b), and fit the shower rest (5) on to the pipe (3). Insert the pipe (3) all the way into
the bracket (4). Then insert the column all the way into the diverter valve (2). Use a pencil to
mark the position of the bracket spacer (4) on the wall.
NB: The wall bracket (4) is provided with a standard spacer which allows the distance to
be adjusted between 52 and 68 mm from the wall. (See drawing no. T05500901).
In the case of taps with a distance greater than 68 mm from the wall, use the special spacer
included in the pack (See drawing no. T05500201) which allows the distance to be adjusted
from 68 to 83 mm.
2)
Before fixing the flange (4a), ensure that the hole is perpendicular and perfectly lined up with
the tap. Finally, fix the flange (4a) to the wall, checking that the closing dowel is positioned
on the side of the flange in order to make adjustment easier during the locking phase.
3)
Fit the shower head (7).
4)
Finally, fit the flexible hose (8) and the hand shower (9), then fix the shower rest (5) at the
required height, using the appropriate Allen key.
NB: Make sure that all the nuts (4b, 4c, 2a) are carefully tightened until they are fully
locked.
