DRAINING THE COFFEE MAKER
WATER IN THE COFFEE MAKER SHOULD BE DRAINED WHEN THE COFFEE MAKER IS:
• Transported
• Shipped
• Stored in an unheated location with a chance of freezing
• Not to be used for an extended period of time
TO DRAIN:
Flip the tank switch to the OFF position, unplug the coffee

maker and allow it to cool for at least 2 hours.
Remove the funnel and the sprayhead, loosening

with your fingertips.
Grasp the back of the coffee maker and turn it upside down

over a sink.
4 Continue tipping the coffee maker until the flow from the
sprayhead tube and lid stops.
5 Attach the sprayhead and insert funnel into coffee maker.
6 Return the coffee maker to the upright position.
