Using the VeinWalker
In the cosmetic fi eld
•
swollen legs caused by lack of movement when, for example:
a sales assistant stands for too long , an offi ce worker sits for too long
or a businessman travels long distances
•
unnatural increase in connective tissue (fi brositis), such as in the case of cellulite
•
swelling in the legs as a result of confi nement to bed or *pregnancy
•
in the case of varicose veins
•
in the case of aching muscles, especially as a result of sport
In the medical fi eld
Swollen legs diagnosed by the doctor as being the result of:
•
diseased veins, for example varicose veins (also acts as a prevention)
•
varicose veins during a pregnancy (also acts as a prevention)
•
prevention of embolism as a result of confi nement to bed
•
swelling in the lymphatic system (lymph oedema)
•
congestion caused by an injured joint or overexertion, such as a haemorrhage
following a sport injury
•
swelling resulting from a pulled muscle or a sprain
•
an ulcerated leg caused by circulatory disturbances
•
surgical wounds heal more quickly
* If the patient has diffi culty in breathing or if her pulse goes up while she is using
the VeinWalker
, she should interrupt the treatment. In such cases, the patient
