Ingredients:
1¼ cup boiling water
¼ cup cornmeal
1 oz wheat bran
½ cup quick-cooking oats
1 egg
¾ cup milk
1 cup flour
½ tablespoon baking powder
1.
Allow the pancake maker to preheat.
2.
Mix cornmeal, wheat bran and oats in a bowl.
3.
Add the boiling water and stir
4.
Cover and leave standing for 25 minutes
5.
Add egg and milk and stir until smooth
6.
Fold in baking powder and flour.
7.
Spray the surfaces of the pancake maker with a small amount of non-stick spray.
8.
Pour the mixed batter into the pancake maker.
9.
Cook with the pancake maker open for 1½ to 2 minutes (or until edges begin to
brown).
10. Close the lid and flip the pancake maker.
11. Continue to cook closed for 35 more seconds.
12. Open the pancake maker and finish cooking until golden brown.
13. As those pancakes finish browning, start the next batch.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
Diced ham (2-4 large spoons full)
Shredded cheese
1.
Blend eggs.
2.
Allow the pancake maker to preheat.
3.
Pour ½ of the egg mixture into each side of the pancake maker.
4.
Add diced ham and top with shredded cheese.
5.
Close the lid of the pancake maker.
6.
Allow eggs to cook 2½ to 3½ minutes.
7.
Flip the pancake maker quickly and allow the eggs to cook another 20-30 seconds.
8.
Open the pancake maker and serve.
