Notes on limitation on use
Following items must be observed when using this function. We bear no responsibility whatsoever for
damages that arise from using the product in manners that deviate from items described below, or from
inability to use the product.
• This function can only be used inside the country where the product is purchased through an
authorized dealer.
• Do not connect the product to any equipment or network, for which there is no right of usage, when
registering product with the application. Connecting any equipment that is connected to unauthorized
equipment may be considered unauthorized access.
• The operation of this product has not been verified for connection with all wireless LAN supported
equipment. This means that there is no guarantee for operation of all equipment that support wireless
LAN.
• Connectivity and performance of this product is not guaranteed with all wireless LAN access points
or residential environments. There may be instances where radio waves cannot reach targeted
destinations or communication may be interrupted or communication speeds may be slowed down
depending on the environment in which the equipment is used, such as inside buildings made of steel
reinforced concrete and metals, as well as near a microwave oven, digital cordless phone or other
equipment that use 2.4 GHz band radio wave.
• A wireless LAN access point is required to use the product. First read the instruction manual of the
access point, then install and set up the access point.
Precaution on personal information (security related) matters
• Wireless LAN exchanges information using radio wave and as such, contents of such communication
may be intercepted and unauthorized access may occur within the rage to which the radio wave can
reach, regardless of whether encryption setting is available or not.
• An appropriate wireless security must be established for the wireless LAN access point to be used, to
ensure security.
• Initialize the wireless LAN function of the product according to the procedure described under
"Initializing Wireless Adaptor" to prevent unauthorized access by third parties, when the product is
transferred to a third party or transferred from a third party.
