Maintenance
1. Do not knock the life jacket or throw it from a height.
2. Never expose the life jacket to direct sunlight for any length of time.
3. Keep the life jacket away from oil, acid, alkali, sharp objects, etc.
4. Regularly check the surface of the jacket for damage. If any leaks are found, do not use it and
replace the life jacket immediately.
5. The gas cylinder and sealing cannot be reused and should be replaced by a new one after use.
6. Life jacket should be stored in a room with 0ºC~+35ºC and relative humidity of 85% or less and
should not be compressed.
7. The life jacket must be checked every year. The CO2 content should be checked each year by an
approved service company & more frequently if in heavy use.
Cleaning Instructions
1. Wash after use in fresh warm water using a mild detergent only.
2. Do not machine wash, dry clean or use stain removers.
3. Never put your life jacket in a spin or tumble dryer.
4. Allow to dry naturally before storing away. Ensure life jacket is left open fully when drying.
Warning: Always remove the CO2 gas cylinder along with the automatic firing capsule and
bobbin before washing and re-fit once the lifejacket is completely dry to avoid involuntary
inflation.
