ACTIVE OR PASSIVE ARMING (with the security system installed)
[PASSIVE]
It is possible to program the immobilizer in active mode (no automatic rearm) or
passive (with automatic rearm). Your remote starter is configured by default to
passive mode in 60 seconds: the remote starter will automatically arm 60 seconds
after closing the last door. However, the remote starter will not arm if a door stays
open.
Note: When the immobilizer is automatically rearm, you can disarm the remote
starter by simply pressing the UNLOCK button.
[SMART]
DOOR MONITORING
If the doors are not opened within 30 seconds after disarming the system, the system
will automatically lock the doors and rearm the system (if installed). The door pins
must be connected to the system to use this feature.
IGNITION DOOR LOCK
[IG LOCK]
This is an added security feature. If the system is installed with the door locks
connected, the doors will automatically lock when the ignition key is turned to the
ON/RUN position and the foot‐brake is pressed. The doors will automatically unlock
when the key is turned OFF.
SHOCK SENSOR
[SHOCK]
Any sensor that is not properly adjusted can trigger a false alarm. Disabling the shock
sensor is useful when parking on busy or noisy streets that have a lot of vibration.
This feature can be used to disable/re‐enable the shock sensor (zone 4), auxiliary
input (zone 7) and the tilt sensor (zone 8). A beep confirms the action: 1 beep
indicates an activated zone and 2 beeps indicates a deactivated zone.
COLD START TIMER MODE
[TIMER]
This feature will remote‐start the vehicle every 1.5 or 3 hours and it will run for 3, 5,
7 or 15 minutes (6, 14 or 30 minutes with a diesel engine) depending on
programming. See COLD START TIMER MODE page 10.
