FOOT-CONTROL SWITCHES
By shifting rightward the lever any handpiece except the
syringe, the electrosurge, and the light cures can be started.
In case of adjustable power handpieces, i.e. micromotors, the
supplied power stands proportional to the lever stroke.
If no instrument has been lifted, this switch activates the
ALARM COUNTDOWN (see chap. 7), provided the pertinent
key has been pressed.
By shifting the lever leftwards, the "reverse" mode of the
micromotor gets preset, if the micromotor is lifted up. Another
shift leftwards restores the rightwise mode. The unit stores
automatically this switching.
If the electrosurge is up, touching leftwards the lever presets
one of the functioning modes (cut, clotted cut, clotting). The
selected mode gets automatically stored.
If the bistoury or any other instrument, but the micromotor is
lifted, the switch has no effect.
When instruments are not picked up, touching the lever leftwards
turns ON or OFF the ISOSUN light.
By pushing the small pedal downwards, with an instrument
lifted, except the syringe and the handpieces without spray, the
spray can be enabled or disabled.
The unit stores automatically this switching.
If all the instruments are lying in resting array, such switch
operates the tumbler filler.
If a handpiece without spray is up, the switch has no effect.
This control starts the electrosurge working.
By pushing the small pedal rightwards, the c.b. of the lifted
handpiece starts operating.
If a handpiece without c.b. or the syringe or all the handpieces
lie in resting array, the switch has no effect.
