1.2 Intended use of device
The mobile reverse osmosis unit produces demineralised water to fill heating
systems, generate cooling lubricants, supply leakage test basins, etc. without
being limited to a particular location.
The unit may be directly connected to the public mains – preliminary treat-
ment is not required. The demineralised water (permeate) may not be used
as drinking water.
1.3 Function description
High pressure (e.g. 15bar) transports the water to be treated across "semi-

permeable" membranes.
Pure, largely demineralised water (permeate) diffuses through the membrane.

The minerals dissolved in the water are largely retained and continually
discharged by a flow of water (concentrate).
A part of the concentrate is returned. This results in a higher yield.

The quantity of permeate filled into the heating system is determined by a
