Engine control settings (SETTING function)
TIP
The MAP number of the last saved setting
data will be displayed in the EDIT screen.
The following items are displayed in the
EDIT screen.
MAP number
Displays the number of the selected set-
ting data.
FI adjustment value display
Displays the adjustment values for the
fuel injection amount. (See "Adjusting
the fuel injection amount" on page 10.)
IG adjustment value display
Displays the adjustment values for the
ignition timing. (See "Adjusting the igni-
tion timing" on page 13.)
[SLCT] tab
Selects the setting data to edit. (See step
4.)
[LOAD] tab
Downloads the adjustment values cur-
rently set in the ECU. (See "Download-
ing setting data from the ECU" on page
20.)
[SAVE] tab
Saves the edited setting data. (See
"Saving setting data" on page 16.)
[BACK] tab
Switches to the SETTING screen.

If you select a MAP number before the cur-

rent setting data is saved, the discard set-
ting confirmation screen will be displayed
and the indicator light will become red.
To discard any changes to the settings and
proceed with selecting another MAP num-
ber, select [OK] using the "
and then push the set button.
If you do not want to select another MAP
number, select [CANCEL], and then push
the set button.
