Follow the guidelines as recommended by the manufacturer of the
de-calcifying solution. Rinse well.
FILTER
•
Your appliance is provided with a mesh filter. This filter is factory pre-
installed before the spout.
•
It is important to clean regularly.
•
The filter is placed in front of the spout. If wet, open the lid and
place the filter under running tap water to be rinsed. If dry, brush
particles away gently.
•
Never clean the filter when the appliance is filled with hot water.
DESCALING
Descale regularly, preferably at least once a month or more frequently
if your water is very hard
To de-scale your kettle (using white vinegar):
•
Fill the kettle with 16 oz of Vinegar.
•
Leave to stand to 1 hour without heating.
To de-scale your kettle (using citric acid):
•
Boil 16 oz of water.
•
Add 1 oz of citric acid and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
To de-scale your kettle using a specific de-scaler:
Follow instructions.

Empty your kettle.
•
Rinse 5 to 6 times.
To de-scale your filter:
•
Soak the filter in white vinegar or diluted citric acid.
•
Never use a de-scaling method other than those
recommended.
