User Manual
Read this manual carefully before using your
hydraulic body and fender repair kit to avoid
damage and injury during use.
Intended purpose
Your hydraulic collision repair kit is intended for
repairing collision damage to the frame and
bodywork of motor vehicles.
Important safety precautions
• Do not use your hydraulic collision repair kit
as a car jack.
• Do not exceed the maximum capacity of your
hydraulic collision repair kit.
• Only use hydraulic oil to fill the pump or when
changing the oil.
• Do not use any extensions other than those
supplied.
• Always protect couplers of unused attachments
with a protection cap to avoid damage.
• Make sure that the hydraulic ram (7) stroke
direction is always at right angles to the load. You
may need to re-adjust the ram to ensure that the
weight of the load acts at right angles to the
direction of stroke.
• Make sure that the hydraulic hose (5) does not
kink, and that no other objects apply pressure to
it.
Use
•
Connect the pump (1) and ram (7) to the
hydraulic hose (5), making sure that all of the
couplers (6) are sufficiently secured.
•
Fasten the corresponding attachment (9) and any
extensions to the ram.
•
Close the pump valve (4) by turning it clockwise.
•
Build up pressure by applying the lever (3).
•
Turn the valve (4) anticlockwise to release
pressure from the ram.
•
Make sure that the attachment (9) does not slip
from the load point while the ram (7) extends.
•
You can use the pump (1) either horizontally or
vertically. In vertical use, make sure that the
hydraulic hose (5) is pointing downwards.

Maintenance and servicing
• When not in use, store the pump with the valve (4)
open.
• Keep all parts in the case supplied to protect them
from damage.
• Open the oil filler bolt (2) only when the ram (7) is
completely collapsed.
• Always check the pump oil level before use. Hold
the pump upright and remove the oil filler bolt (2).
If necessary, fill with hydraulic oil up to the upper
marking on the dipstick, then close the opening
tight.
• After long periods of use, your hydraulic collision
repair kit will need a complete oil change. Hold the
pump upright, remove the dipstick and open the
valve (4).
• Drain the hydraulic oil into a suitable container.
Never let used oil to enter the sewage or earth –
observe all statutory regulations when disposing
of the oil.
• Close the valve (4) and fill the pump with hydraulic
oil up to the upper marking on the dipstick.
Carefully close the oil fill opening.
