6.6 Analog out

The FMX-004 is equipped with an analog out. A cable with a standard mono 3,5 mm mini
Jackplug can be connected to the instrument. The top of the plug is the signal wire, the lower is
the earth connection. The analog out can be switched on and off. Immediately after switching
the device on, the word "Aon" will briefly be visible if the analog out is enabled. When the analog
out is switched off no text is displayed.
In order to switch the analog out on or off, press the [POWER] button for 5 seconds when the
instrument is turned on. 5 bars will appear on the graphic display. Once the button is released
you can see whether the analog out is on (Aon) or off (Aof).
An optional cable for the analog out is supplied as a set together with a mounting bracket. See
spare parts list.

6.7 Mounting bracket

The FMX-004 can be mounted permanently using an optional mounting bracket. This is
supplied as a set, together with a cable with a 3,5 mm mini Jackplug for earthing and analog
out. When combined with the continuous mode a fixed measuring point can be established.
